Programme Objectives and Learning Outcomes The internship programme aims to provide practical learning opportunities that complement academic training and expose participants to real-world challenges in development work. Interns will: Gain first-hand experience in programme design, implementation, and evaluation. Understand the internal operations of an international NGO, including finance, supply chain, and administration. Build professional skills in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving within a cross-functional environment. Learn about donor compliance, project reporting, and monitoring frameworks. Contribute to Save the Children’s mission of ensuring that every child survives, learns, and is protected. Eligibility and Candidate Profile The internships are open to recent graduates or students in their final year of study who are pursuing degrees relevant to the positions offered, such as international relations, social sciences, business administration, finance, information technology, or related fields. Candidates should possess: Strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. A demonstrated commitment to the values and mission of Save the Children. The ability to work effectively in a multicultural team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
