The MSc Sexual and Reproductive Health Policy and Programming (SRHPP) is an intensive online programme jointly delivered by the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and the University of Ghana School of Public Health (UGSPH). The programme equips students with the skills and knowledge to design, implement, and evaluate evidence-based sexual and reproductive health (SRH) policies and programmes. To support students from sub-Saharan Africa, scholarships are available to cover tuition and essential learning costs. MSc Sexual and Reproductive Health Policy and Programming (SRHPP): Scholarship Benefits Each scholarship covers: Full tuition fees at the LSHTM low- and middle-income country rate: GBP 17,850 One-time allowance of GBP 1,000 for IT equipment, internet costs, or other learning-related expenses (primarily for IT costs to ensure reliable online learning) Note: The scholarship does not provide a living allowance or stipend. Applicants must ensure they can meet personal living costs independently. Eligibility Criteria Applicants must meet all the following requirements: Nationality and Residency Must be a national and ordinarily resident of a sub-Saharan African country (as defined by the World Bank). Application for the MSc Programme Must have submitted a complete application for the online MSc SRHPP programme with all required documents. Professional Experience Must have at least two years’ work experience in sexual and reproductive health or related health fields in sub-Saharan Africa. English Language Proficiency Must meet LSHTM’s minimum English proficiency requirements if shortlisted by 15 June 2026. Preferred Countries (for some scholarships) Benin, Burkina Faso, Botswana, Central African Republic, Guinea-Bissau, DRC, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Togo, Zambia. Application Process The application process has two steps: Step 1 – Apply to the MSc Programme Submit an application to study the MSc SRHPP 2026–27 via the LSHTM admissions portal. Pay the GBP 50 LSHTM admissions application fee. Submit early to avoid delays. Step 2 – Apply for the Scholarship After submitting the MSc application, you will receive an automated email from the LSHTM Scholarships team with a link to the online scholarship portal. Login with the temporary password provided and complete the online scholarship form. Submit the application via the portal by the scholarship deadline. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. All supplementary documents must also be submitted on time. References must be provided within 10 days after the deadline if not submitted initially.
