What is the Allan Gray Scholarship Programme? Through the scholarship experience, learners can begin developing the entrepreneurial mindset and leadership qualities associated with the wider Allan Gray Orbis Foundation ecosystem. Application process The application process involves several stages. Applicants must first submit a completed application form together with the required supporting documentation. Successful applicants will then be invited to write the Foundation’s Grade 6 English and Mathematics assessment in December 2026. Candidates who successfully progress beyond the assessment stage will be invited to interviews in early 2027. Recommended candidates will subsequently be invited to placement schools for additional interviews. Candidates whose recommendations are approved by the relevant placement schools will be awarded the Allan Gray Scholarship in May 2027. Once a scholarship has been awarded, the Foundation, placement school and scholar’s custodian will sign a Memorandum of Agreement. Important application information Applications are currently open.
