The Raymond Ackerman Academy of Entrepreneurial Development (RAA-ED) offers a six-month, full-time online entrepreneurship programme designed to empower young people across Southern Africa. Delivered through the Johannesburg Business School, part of the University of Johannesburg, the programme equips participants with practical business skills, personal development tools, and the confidence to pursue entrepreneurial ventures or career opportunities. The initiative is aimed at youth who are passionate about entrepreneurship and committed to becoming economically active and socially responsible citizens. Programme Structure and Format The programme is delivered entirely online over a six-month period and requires full-time participation. Learners engage in structured coursework, workshops, and practical activities designed to simulate real-world business environments. Key details include: Duration: 6 months Format: Full-time, online (Monday–Friday, 09:00–16:00) Location: Remote (South Africa and SADC countries) Annual Intake: Approximately 60–160 students Admission is competitive and based on merit, with shortlisted candidates progressing to panel interviews.
