ARC–GSSP Fully Funded Postgraduate Scholarship Programme 2026/2027 for African Students Sponsors: African Risk Capacity Limited (ARC Ltd.) & Global Shield Solutions Platform (GSSP) Target Group: Citizens of African Union (AU) Member States Study Level: Full-Time Postgraduate (Master’s / Postgraduate Diploma) Duration: Up to 2 Years Partner Countries: South Africa, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, and Ghana Funding: Fully Funded Application Deadline: October 7, 2026 (23:59 GMT) About the Scholarship The African Risk Capacity Limited (ARC Ltd.), in partnership with the Global Shield Solutions Platform (GSSP) (managed by the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management), is calling for applications for the ARC–GSSP Scholarship Programme 2026/2027. This fully funded scholarship aims to build early-career technical capacity across Africa by training professionals in actuarial science, insurance, agricultural statistics, disaster risk financing, and climate resilience management. Scholarship Benefits Selected scholars will receive full operational and academic support for up to two years, including: Tuition: Full coverage of all university tuition fees. Living Costs: Monthly living stipend and accommodation support. Travel & Health: Return economy flight tickets and comprehensive medical insurance. Professional Development: Mentorship, career guidance, and guaranteed internship opportunities through ARC Ltd. and its partner networks. Partner Universities & Eligible Programmes Candidates must apply to one of the following eligible programs at a partner university: University of Cape Town (South Africa): Postgraduate Diploma in Actuarial Science École Nationale Supérieure de Statistique et d’Économie Appliquée – ENSEA (Côte d’Ivoire): Master en Actuariat / Master en Statistique Agricole Institut Interafricain de Formation en Assurance et en Gestion des Entreprises – IFAGE (Senegal): Master Professionnel en Actuariat / Master Professionnel en Assurance University of Ghana (Ghana): Master of Science (MSc) in Actuarial Science / Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Actuarial Science Eligibility Criteria To be eligible for the ARC–GSSP Scholarship, applicants must: Citizenship: Be a citizen of an African Union Member State. Academic Background: Hold a relevant undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Disaster Risk Management, Engineering, Environmental Management, Agriculture, or related fields. University Admission: Hold a firm offer of admission or be in the process of applying to an eligible postgraduate program at one of the four partner institutions. Post-Graduation Commitment: Commit to working within Africa for at least two years following graduation and complete the required internship.
