Fellowship Benefits Recipients of the Lee Kong Chian Research Fellowship are provided with: A monthly stipend for six months A one-time relocation allowance for overseas fellows Monthly accommodation support Reimbursement for a return economy class air ticket Fellows are expected to reside at the library in Singapore’s central district during the program period and dedicate their time to research using the library’s collections. Fellowship Obligations Fellows are required to: Remain in residence at the Lee Kong Chian Reference Library throughout the fellowship period Focus exclusively on research activities during the tenure Comply with all guidelines set forth by the National Library Board Publishing and Research Rights Research outcomes from the fellowship may be published, with recognition given to the Lee Kong Chian Research Fellowship. Scholars are encouraged to contribute to academic journals, books, and other publications in line with the fellowship’s mission to promote historical knowledge.
