About the Scholarship and Communications Coordinator Role CBM is seeking a skilled communications professional to support the Inclusive Health Initiative by managing communications activities and coordinating scholarship programmes. The role combines: Strategic communications Content development Partnership coordination Scholarship administration Stakeholder engagement Programme visibility The successful candidate will work closely with CBM teams, universities, government partners, training institutions, and programme participants to ensure effective delivery and communication of scholarship initiatives. Key Responsibilities The Scholarship and Communications Coordinator will be responsible for the following: Lead Communications Strategy The coordinator will develop and implement communications strategies for the Inclusive Health Initiative. Responsibilities include: Planning communication activities Promoting programme achievements Increasing visibility of initiatives Supporting organisational messaging Produce Communications Content The role involves creating high-quality communications materials, including: Case studies Social media content Website articles Internal newsletters Programme updates External publications The successful candidate will help showcase the impact of CBM programmes and partnerships. Coordinate Scholarship Programmes The coordinator will manage the full scholarship lifecycle, including: Application processes Candidate selection logistics Participant onboarding Documentation management Communication with trainees Coordination with training institutions The role ensures scholarship activities are delivered efficiently and transparently. Manage Stakeholder Relationships The successful candidate will serve as a central communication point between: CBM teams Universities Training institutions Government stakeholders Development partners Scholarship recipients Strong relationship-building skills will be essential. Maintain Programme Records The coordinator will maintain accurate documentation, including: Scholarship databases Contracts Academic progress records Financial documentation Programme reports Duty Locations This position will be filled locally within one of CBM’s established country offices. Eligibility Requirements Applicants should meet the following requirements: Education A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Communications Journalism Marketing International Development Related fields Professional Experience Candidates should have: At least 7 years of experience in communications Experience in international development, health, innovation, or entrepreneurship sectors Experience managing communication outputs Experience producing professional publications Experience with scholarship, education, or training programmes is an advantage.
