Opportunity for Early Career Researchers The fellowship primarily supports: Completion of significant publishable research Preparation of major postdoctoral grant applications Development of public engagement and research impact activities Expansion of academic publication portfolios Applicants must demonstrate: Strong archaeological research expertise A well-developed and feasible research proposal Excellent academic writing and publication potential Strong project management and analytical skills Candidates should have completed their doctorate no earlier than 1 January 2023, excluding approved career breaks. Flexible UK-Based Research Arrangement One distinctive feature of the fellowship is its flexible hosting model. Research can be conducted at any UK university with suitable supervision arrangements in place. However, applicants choosing a host institution outside Oxford must already possess the legal right to work in the United Kingdom due to immigration restrictions.
