Master’s degree with 60% marks (Science) or 55% (Social Sciences, Management, Humanities). 6+ years post-doctoral research, teaching, or professional experience. Exceptional candidates may be considered for Associate Professor (SG) with US$24,000–35,000 per annum. Assistant Professor (US$15,000 – 20,000 per annum) Highly productive scholars with potential to excel in academics. PhD from a recognized university; Master’s with required minimum marks. 2+ years post-doctoral research or teaching/professional experience. Exceptional candidates may be considered for Assistant Professor (SG) with US$18,000–25,000 per annum. Note: Experience requirements may be relaxed for candidates with PhDs from top universities. Teaching ability and communication skills will be evaluated during interviews, including short classroom presentations. Selection Process Applications will be screened by a Screening Committee, and shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews. Candidates unable to attend in-person interviews may be interviewed online under exceptional circumstances. The assessment will include teaching ability, communication, research competence, and academic contributions. Duties and Responsibilities Faculty members are expected to: Apply for and obtain external research funding and foster collaborations. Teach effectively across a range of subjects, including lectures, lab sessions, and tutorials. Supervise and mentor Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students. Contribute to institutional development, including committee service, coordinating student activities, and assisting in admissions or evaluation processes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge in teaching and research areas, updating course content as necessary. Additional Information Retirement age: 65 years. Initial appointments: five-year contract, with regularization based on performance. Preference in specific faculties: Engineering & Technology: Candidates with B.Tech., M.Tech., PhD.
