Host Institution Arrangements Applicants are responsible for independently contacting and securing a host institution in the United States. While a confirmed host affiliation is not required when submitting the Fulbright application, successful candidates must obtain confirmation from their U.S. institution before receiving their Fulbright grant. Because universities have different timelines for accepting visiting scholars, applicants are encouraged to begin discussions with potential hosts well in advance.
