The Grace Agbonlahor Foundation (GAF) has launched IgniteHer, an initiative designed to empower girls and young women with practical digital, technology, and career-readiness skills through fully funded Coursera scholarship opportunities. The programme combines access to world-class online courses and professional certifications with mentorship, career guidance, structured learning pathways, and community support. It is designed particularly for young women who want to develop in-demand skills, explore career opportunities, and improve their prospects for employment, further education, or entrepreneurship. About the IgniteHer Programme IgniteHer is a Grace Agbonlahor Foundation initiative focused on helping girls and young women move from inspiration to practical opportunity. Through its partnership with Coursera, the programme provides scholarship recipients with access to online courses and certifications at no cost. The scholarship covers the full cost of eligible courses provided through the programme. What Can Participants Learn? IgniteHer offers curated Coursera learning pathways covering a range of technology, business, and career-related disciplines. In-Demand Digital Skills Participants can explore practical training in areas such as: Artificial intelligence Cybersecurity Data analytics Python SQL Excel Digital marketing Human resources Project management These skills can help participants build capabilities relevant to modern workplaces and emerging career opportunities.
