International Conference on Feminism, Gender and Law 2026 has officially opened its Call for Abstracts, inviting scholars, researchers, legal practitioners, and academic institutions worldwide to contribute to this year’s global conference themed “Feminist Law-making.” The conference will take place on 18 September 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City and is hosted by the University of Economics and Law in collaboration with the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung. ICFGL 2026 marks a significant evolution in feminist legal scholarship by shifting focus from legal critique and feminist judgments toward active legislative drafting and transformative law-making. Conference Theme: “Feminist Law-making” This year’s conference explores how feminist legal theory can move beyond analyzing existing legal systems toward actively shaping future legislation and legal reform. The conference seeks to foster discussions on integrating feminist perspectives into legal drafting, policymaking, governance, and institutional reform processes.
