Fully funded Erasmus+ supported Master’s programme focuses on research, innovation and higher education leadership The MARIHE – Master in Research and Innovation in Higher Education programme has opened applications for its 2026 intake, offering international students the opportunity to pursue an advanced two-year master’s degree supported by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. MARIHE is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) programme designed for students and professionals interested in higher education management, research systems, innovation policies and the future development of universities worldwide. The application deadline for the 2026 intake is 21 September 2026 at 10:00 a.m. CEST. About the MARIHE Master’s Programme MARIHE provides interdisciplinary education focused on understanding and improving higher education systems in a rapidly changing global environment. The programme combines research, innovation and policy perspectives to prepare graduates for leadership roles in universities, research organisations, government institutions and international development agencies. The master’s programme runs for: Duration: Four semesters (two academic years). Study format: International joint master’s programme. Scholarship opportunities available Applicants can participate in the MARIHE programme through two main funding options: 1. Tuition Fee Scholarship Holder Students selected under this category receive support covering tuition-related costs according to the scholarship conditions of the programme. 2. Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Holder Outstanding applicants may be selected for the prestigious Erasmus Mundus scholarship, which provides financial support for eligible international students studying within the joint master’s programme. The Erasmus Mundus scholarship programme aims to promote academic excellence, international cooperation and mobility among students from around the world.
