Description

Nigerian students and young African changemakers, imagine developing real solutions for challenges in education, health, or economic security—all without worrying about tuition fees, travel costs, or program expenses. The MCW Global Young Leaders Fellowship 2026 is a fully funded, year-long leadership program that blends virtual training, in-person immersion in the United States, mentorship, and project implementation support. Perfect for young people seeking globally recognized skills in leadership and community development, this fellowship covers international flights, accommodation, meals, and local travel—offering the feel of an international scholarship without the burden of loans or extra fees. From New York to Vermont, participants join a diverse global network, gain practical experience, and build a strong portfolio that strengthens applications for future opportunities, online programs, and global internships. Applications opened November 5—an incredible chance for Africa’s next generation of innovators and problem-solvers. About the MCW Global Young Leaders Fellowship The Young Leaders Fellowship, organized by MCW Global (Miracle Corners of the World), empowers individuals aged 18 to 26 to create impactful, community-driven projects. The program runs for one year and includes: 1. Virtual Community Needs Assessment — June 2026 A one-month online training where participants identify and analyze real issues in their communities related to education, health, or economic security. 2. In-Person Immersion in the United States — July 2026 A 10-day intensive program held in New York City and Burlington, Vermont, featuring workshops, expert sessions, peer collaboration, and leadership development. During this stage, fellows craft a detailed Vision Plan for their community project. 3. Ten Months of Virtual Implementation — August 2026 to May 2027 Participants implement their projects back home with continuous guidance from experienced alumni mentors and MCW Global staff. This is not a theory-based program—it’s practical, hands-on, and designed to help young leaders create long-term, sustainable impact in their communities.
