Overview of the Award The African Excellence Award is offered to international students from Africa who are commencing a one-year postgraduate taught Master’s programme during the 2026/27 academic session. The scholarship provides a full tuition fee waiver, enabling recipients to focus fully on academic and professional development. Eligibility Criteria Applicants must meet all of the following requirements to be considered for the African Excellence Award: Academic and Programme Requirements Demonstrate academic excellence equivalent to a UK First Class Honours degree Apply for, and ultimately hold, an offer for a one-year postgraduate taught Master’s programme starting in September 2026 Postgraduate diploma or certificate programmes are not eligible An offer of admission is not required at the time of scholarship application, but shortlisted candidates must hold an offer to proceed to the interview stage.
