Warrn has announced a Developer Intern opportunity for candidates based in India, offering an opportunity to gain hands-on experience developing production software within an AI-powered incident response platform. The internship is fully remote and provides successful candidates with the opportunity to work directly with the company’s founder while contributing to real products, production code and systems used by customers. Developer Internship Opportunity Warrn is developing an agentic incident response platform designed to support DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering teams through AI-powered monitoring, incident triage, on-call management and resolution. The Developer Intern will contribute to the development of core platform features, AI agents and integrations with communication and monitoring tools. Key responsibilities include: • Taking software features from initial ideas through development and production deployment. • Working across the technology stack on real production applications. • Contributing to the platform’s monitoring and alerting capabilities. • Developing and improving AI agents that investigate and help resolve incidents. • Working on integrations with Slack and monitoring platforms. • Collaborating directly with the founder on product and technical decisions. • Taking ownership of features and contributing to the product from development through delivery. Technical Requirements The internship is aimed at candidates with practical software development skills, particularly in backend and frontend technologies. Applicants should have experience with: • Python, including the ability to build and deploy backend APIs. • Django and django-ninja for backend development. • Next.js for frontend development. • TypeScript and modern frontend development practices. Beyond technical skills, Warrn is looking for candidates who demonstrate ownership and prefer taking responsibility for features from beginning to end rather than waiting for individual development tickets. Remote Internship Limited to India Although the position is advertised as remote, the opportunity is currently restricted to candidates located in India. Warrn states that it can only hire and pay individuals within India at this time, meaning applicants based outside the country are not eligible for the position. Successful interns will also need to provide 3 to 6 or more months of availability, with some overlap with Indian Standard Time (IST) working hours. Internship Compensation The Developer Intern position offers a monthly stipend ranging from: • ₹25,000 to ₹40,000 per month The internship provides an opportunity to gain professional experience by working on production systems rather than an isolated student or side project. Experience in AI and DevOps The internship could be particularly relevant to students and early-career developers interested in the intersection of software engineering, artificial intelligence, DevOps and site reliability engineering. By working on incident monitoring, alerting and AI-driven response systems, interns can gain exposure to practical applications of AI agents in production engineering environments. The opportunity also provides direct exposure to product decision-making and the development lifecycle of an early-stage technology company. About Warrn Warrn is an agentic incident response platform designed for DevOps and SRE teams. Its platform combines monitoring, on-call capabilities, AI-powered incident investigation and resolution tools. Its product offering includes on-call management, postmortems, status pages, monitors and heartbeats, alongside integrations designed to support incident response workflows. The Developer Intern role therefore offers candidates in India an opportunity to contribute directly to an emerging technology platform while developing practical experience in full-stack software engineering and AI-enabled infrastructure. Interested candidates should review the official Warrn careers page and submit their application through the company’s recruitment process.
