The initiative seeks evidence, ideas and expertise that can help identify the most important health challenges, emerging risks, opportunities and policy gaps that should be examined as the global health community prepares for the post-2030 era. Governments, researchers, universities, civil society organizations, professional associations, youth networks and other stakeholders are invited to submit priority topics for potential technical analysis. About the WHO Post-2030 Health Evidence Review As the 2030 deadline for the Sustainable Development Goals approaches, WHO and its partners are looking beyond existing global health commitments to understand what will be required to protect and advance the health and well-being of women, newborns, children and adolescents in the years that follow. Despite significant progress in recent decades, many health gains have slowed or stalled, while important targets related to mortality and morbidity remain unmet. The consultation process will continue beyond the initial submission stage, with opportunities for stakeholders to help identify contributors and review draft analyses. What Information Is Required? Individuals submitting a proposal will need to provide several key pieces of information through the online form. The submission should include: The proposed priority topic. The primary thematic focus. A short justification explaining why the topic is important. An indicative outline of the proposed analysis. Names of potential lead contributors. Relevant institutions or consortium partners. Basic information about the person submitting the proposal. Participants can submit multiple suggestions if they have several priority topics they believe should be considered. However, submitting an idea does not guarantee that the topic will be commissioned or that a suggested expert or institution will ultimately be selected. All submissions will be reviewed by a multi-agency Technical Working Group as part of the broader preparation process.
