MCW Global has officially opened applications for the 2026 Young Leaders Fellowship, an innovative year-long leadership program designed to empower young people aged 18 to 26 from around the world. The Fellowship equips participants with the tools, training, and mentorship needed to design and implement community-driven projects in the fields of education, health, and economic security. About the Fellowship The Young Leaders Fellowship is a flagship program of MCW Global that aims to cultivate the next generation of changemakers through a structured, three-phase experience. Each phase focuses on deep community engagement, leadership development, and practical project implementation. The journey begins with the Community Needs Assessment, a one-month virtual phase that helps participants analyze and understand the challenges within their local communities. Fellows receive training and resources to conduct meaningful assessments, ensuring that their future projects address real and relevant issues. Following this phase, participants engage in a 10-day intensive in-person training in New York, USA, and Burlington, Vermont, where they learn from global experts, attend workshops, and participate in vision planning sessions. This component transforms their community insights into actionable project plans, empowering them to develop sustainable solutions that respond directly to local needs. The Fellowship concludes with a 10-month virtual mentorship and project implementation phase, where each Fellow works closely with experienced alumni mentors. These mentors guide participants through the execution of their action plans, provide continuous support, and facilitate group learning sessions throughout the year. Through workshops, events, and peer collaboration, participants learn how to translate ideas into impactful community initiatives.
