Leveraging a deep understanding of local contexts, the organization collaborates with international and local partners to advance a “3ZERO” world: Zero Exclusion, Zero Carbon, and Zero Poverty. The Project Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring smooth, cost-efficient, and compliant project implementation across Acted’s programs. Reporting to Project Managers, this position requires expertise in project planning, implementation oversight, quality assurance, and partner coordination. Key Responsibilities Project Implementation and Follow-up Planning: Organize project kick-off and close-out meetings, ensure comprehensive implementation strategies, and work plans are in place. Collaborate with Project Managers to prioritize activities and allocate resources effectively. Implementation Monitoring: Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to technical standards and quality benchmarks. Anticipate risks, resolve implementation challenges, monitor outputs and budgets, and ensure timely completion of deliverables. Quality Control: Implement field-based MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) systems, conduct site visits, and advise on project adjustments based on evaluations. Support capitalizing lessons learned and best practices. Partner Management: Support review of partnerships with implementing partners, facilitate issue resolution, and provide guidance to ensure timely and compliant project delivery. Lead review meetings emphasizing collaborative relationships. External Relations: Establish and maintain active relationships with local authorities, non-state actors, and key stakeholders. Facilitate beneficiary consultation and ensure engagement is conducted respectfully and sensitively. Administrative and Operational Management Finance: Review project budgets to prevent under- or overspending and ensure accurate forecasting and expense planning. Logistics: Contribute to procurement planning, supplier selection, and quality checks while ensuring compliance with origin and nationality rules. HR and Administration: Support recruitment, staff structuring, performance appraisal, and career management. Promote a positive working environment, manage conflicts, and facilitate capacity building among project teams. Compliance and Transparency: Maintain accurate project records, ensure staff adherence to Acted’s code of conduct and procedures, and oversee documentation compliance for donor reporting. Security: Collaborate with security focal points to assess risks, implement MOSS (Minimum Operating Security Standards), and ensure teams follow security protocols. Partner Capacity Building: Support due diligence, develop organizational development plans, and ensure partners provide all required documentation to Acted and donors. Required Qualifications and Competencies Minimum of four years’ field experience in program management or coordination. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, including training and mobilizing staff. Flexibility to multi-task under pressure and work in unstable security environments. Willingness to live in remote areas under basic conditions. Ability to work creatively and independently in both field and office settings. Conditions and Benefits Monthly salary between €2,800–€3,100 (pre-tax), depending on experience and security level, plus $300 monthly living allowance. Flight tickets every six months, visa fees covered, luggage transportation up to 100 kg, and optional R&R every three months with allowance.
