Programme Overview Closing Date: 11 November 2025Location: Johannesburg, South AfricaDuration: January – December 2026Stipend: R5,000 per month Successful applicants will be appointed on a 12-month fixed-term contract, beginning in January 2026 and ending in December 2026. Each intern will receive a monthly stipend of R5,000 for the duration of the programme. This is an entry-level opportunity, ideal for recent graduates eager to launch their careers. No previous work experience is required—just enthusiasm, a relevant qualification, and a willingness to learn. Key Eligibility Criteria Applicants must meet the following requirements: Be South African citizens aged 18–34 years. Be unemployed and submit an affidavit confirming unemployment status. Have completed Matric and hold at least a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or a Degree from a recognised institution. Be registered on the YES Youth platform at www.yes4youth.co.za. Not be enrolled in full-time studies during 2026. Not have previously participated in the YES4Youth Programme. Be available for the full 12-month duration of the internship.
