The United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI), in partnership with the Millennium Campus Network (MCN), proudly presents the Millennium Fellowship, a premier leadership development program for undergraduate students committed to advancing social impact and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Fellowship provides a semester-long opportunity for students to refine their leadership skills, develop impactful projects, and connect with a global network of changemakers. The program is offered at no cost to participants or their universities. Program Overview The Millennium Fellowship is designed to empower undergraduates who seek to create meaningful change within their communities and on a global scale. Fellows gain the tools, guidance, and networks necessary to implement high-impact initiatives while developing skills essential for leadership in the 21st century. Key components of the Fellowship include: Leadership Development: Participants enhance personal leadership skills through structured training, mentorship, and peer collaboration. Project Implementation: Fellows design and execute social impact projects that address one or more SDGs within their campus or local community. Global Networking: The program provides access to a worldwide network of student changemakers, enabling collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mentorship. Recognition and Credentials: Fellows receive recognition from UNAI and MCN, showcasing their commitment to leadership and sustainable development. Eligibility The Millennium Fellowship targets undergraduate students who are: Currently enrolled in an accredited university or higher education institution Committed to social impact initiatives and advancing the SDGs Ready to dedicate time and effort to a semester-long leadership program Interested in connecting with a global network of peers and mentors The Fellowship welcomes students from diverse backgrounds and disciplines, as long as they demonstrate a commitment to creating positive social change. Program Benefits Millennium Fellows receive access to a range of opportunities that support personal growth and project success: Comprehensive Training: Fellows participate in workshops and online modules covering leadership, project design, impact measurement, and sustainability. Global Connections: Participants join a vibrant network of over 10,000 changemakers from more than 100 countries, fostering collaboration and peer learning. Recognition: Fellows earn official certification from UNAI and MCN, enhancing their academic and professional profiles. Mentorship Support: Fellows are guided by experienced mentors to ensure successful project development and implementation. No Cost Participation: The program is completely free for students and institutions, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity. Application Process Interested students must complete the following steps to apply: Review Eligibility: Ensure all criteria are met and confirm readiness for a semester-long commitment. Prepare Required Documents: Gather information about academic background, extracurricular activities, and social impact initiatives. Submit Application Online: Applications must be submitted through the Millennium Fellowship portal before the priority deadline: Sunday, 30 November 2025. Application Review: Submissions are evaluated based on leadership potential, commitment to social impact, and alignment with the SDGs.
