Program Overview The Women Entrepreneurs Award is a six-month accelerator program focused on helping women-led ventures transition from early innovation to investment readiness. However, research consistently shows that women-led ventures receive significantly less venture capital funding than male-led startups. The Women Entrepreneurs Award was created to address this challenge by: Increasing access to capital and business support for women founders Strengthening investor readiness and financial strategy Elevating global visibility for women-led innovations Creating a supportive community of women entrepreneurs Through this program, the Bayer Foundation aims to empower women founders to scale impactful ventures that address global development challenges. Six-Month Investor Readiness Accelerator The accelerator provides tailored support to help founders strengthen their ventures and prepare for fundraising opportunities. Key components include: Guidance on improving business models and strategy Support in refining financial planning and projections Development of impact metrics and measurement frameworks Preparation for investor presentations and funding discussions This structured program helps founders build a solid foundation for long-term growth and scalability. €25,000 Non-Dilutive Funding Each selected entrepreneur will receive €25,000 in non-dilutive funding, meaning founders retain full ownership of their ventures.
