The Policy Center for the New South (PCNS) has announced a unique opportunity for young professionals to participate in the Raisina Young Fellows Programme 2026, organized by the Observer Research Foundation (ORF). This initiative underscores PCNS’s ongoing commitment to empowering emerging leaders and fostering meaningful international collaboration. From March 2 to 11, 2026, selected fellows will take part in an immersive program in New Delhi, India, coinciding with the Raisina Dialogue (March 5–7), India’s premier conference on geopolitics and geo-economics. Co-hosted by ORF and India’s Ministry of External Affairs, the Raisina Dialogue convenes global policymakers, scholars, and thought leaders to discuss critical international issues shaping the 21st century. The Raisina Young Fellows Programme offers a dynamic platform for outstanding young professionals from politics, diplomacy, business, media, civil society, and academia to engage in rigorous exchange on global challenges and innovative policy solutions. Participants will explore key themes such as multilateralism, technology governance, sustainable development, economic resilience, and regional security—issues that define the evolving global order. Throughout the program, fellows will interact directly with senior policymakers, diplomats, business executives, and academic experts. These engagements provide unparalleled exposure to diverse perspectives on international relations and strategic affairs, while cultivating professional networks that extend far beyond the duration of the fellowship. Participants will also contribute to discussions and policy dialogues, developing critical thinking and cross-cultural leadership skills that prepare them to influence policy and decision-making in their respective fields. By joining this prestigious fellowship, participants will become part of a vibrant alumni community of over 2,000 professionals—including ministers, CEOs, scholars, and policymakers—who have taken part in ORF’s international leadership programs. This network provides ongoing opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and professional advancement within the global policy sphere. The call for applications represents a strategic partnership between PCNS, ORF, and the Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI). Through this trilateral collaboration, each institution nominates exceptional individuals to participate in one another’s programs. This structure encourages cross-regional dialogue and knowledge exchange between Africa, Asia, and Europe, promoting a deeper understanding of shared global challenges and regional perspectives. Eligibility Criteria Applicants must meet the following requirements: Be between 28 and 35 years old Demonstrate outstanding professional achievements and leadership potential Show commitment to contributing meaningfully to international policy discussions Have a background in politics, diplomacy, business, media, civil society, or academia Possess strong proficiency in English The fellowship seeks individuals who have demonstrated excellence, vision, and the capacity to act as catalysts for positive change in their professional spheres and communities. Benefits Selected fellows will receive: A comprehensive, fully funded program designed to enhance leadership and policy expertise Roundtrip economy airfare to New Delhi, India Accommodation, meals, and local transportation for the duration of the fellowship This all-inclusive support ensures that participants can fully engage in the program’s activities and focus on the rich exchange of ideas and experiences. Program Impact Participation in the Raisina Young Fellows Programme offers not only professional enrichment but also a transformative personal experience. Fellows return home equipped with new perspectives, policy insights, and networks that strengthen their ability to contribute to regional and global discourse. They join a growing cohort of young leaders committed to advancing multilateral cooperation and fostering innovative approaches to complex international challenges. Through its involvement in this initiative, the Policy Center for the New South continues to reaffirm its mission of nurturing global dialogue, developing leadership capacity across the Global South, and building bridges between regions through research, debate, and collaboration.
