Transparency International EU (TI EU) is inviting applications for its EU Political Integrity Traineeship, a six-month paid opportunity for early-career professionals interested in anti-corruption, EU policymaking, governance, and political integrity. Key Responsibilities The trainee will provide research, policy, communication, and administrative support across the EU Political Integrity team. Main responsibilities include: Monitoring anti-corruption developments and policy trends across the EU. Conducting desk research and investigative policy analysis. Analysing data, stakeholders, and governance developments. Supporting the organization of presentations, meetings, and public events. Assisting with project implementation, management, and reporting. Tracking project activities, impact, and reporting to external stakeholders. Proofreading publications and supporting social media communication. Providing administrative and operational support to the Brussels office. Performing additional duties as required. The role offers exposure to EU policymaking, civil society advocacy, and evidence-based anti-corruption initiatives. Eligibility Requirements Applicants should possess a university degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, including: European Studies Economics Law Political Science International Relations Communications Other Social Science disciplines The traineeship is designed for candidates with no more than five years of relevant professional experience. Required Skills and Experience Strong candidates should demonstrate: Excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge of EU institutions and EU policymaking processes. Interest in anti-corruption, integrity, and transparency. Strong research and analytical abilities. Excellent organizational and administrative skills. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications. Ability to work collaboratively in an international and multicultural team. Commitment to the values and mission of Transparency International.
