The Women Deliver 2026 Conference is a global convening that brings together leaders, advocates, policymakers, and youth champions committed to advancing the rights, health, and opportunities of girls and women worldwide. The conference provides a powerful platform for dialogue, collaboration, knowledge exchange, and collective commitments aimed at achieving gender equality and strengthening the global movement for women’s rights. Through the Elevating Youth Voices Initiative, selected young leaders from Nigeria will receive support to participate in this influential gathering. The initiative focuses on empowering youth advocates working on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) prevention and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) by strengthening their capacity in advocacy, alliance-building, and policy engagement. By participating in the conference, young leaders will gain opportunities to amplify their voices in national, regional, and global conversations shaping gender justice and youth leadership. The initiative recognizes the critical role that youth play in driving social change and addressing structural inequalities affecting girls and women. It aims to equip emerging leaders with the skills, networks, and exposure necessary to strengthen their advocacy efforts and contribute meaningfully to policy and community-level transformation. Programme Benefits Selected participants will receive comprehensive support to attend the conference and engage with global stakeholders. Through these opportunities, participants will expand their understanding of global gender equality movements while strengthening their ability to influence policy and social change within their communities and networks. Eligibility Criteria Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for the opportunity: Be between 18 and 35 years old at the time of application. Be a member of a network, coalition, or organization working on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) prevention and/or Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). Demonstrate experience in advocacy, community engagement, or programming related to GBV prevention and SRHR. Be available to travel and participate in the conference scheduled to take place 27–30 April 2026. Possess a valid international passport. Applicants who already hold an Australian visa or have an ongoing visa application process are encouraged to indicate this during the application. Application Information Interested candidates are required to complete the official application form and provide relevant information regarding their advocacy work, organizational affiliation, and experience in gender equality initiatives. Applicants will be asked to provide the following details: Personal information, including name, age, sex, and email address. Areas of interest or expertise, such as: Policy and legal reform Awareness and sensitization Advocacy Community mobilization Fundraising Response and referral services Resource mobilization Organizational affiliation, including the network, coalition, or organization they represent. Geographical location of their organization, categorized by regional zones in Nigeria. Current role or position within their organization or coalition. In addition, applicants will be required to respond to several short questions outlining: How their organization’s work aligns with global or regional efforts to prevent and end Gender-Based Violence. Their personal experience in advocating for GBV prevention and promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights. How attending the Women Deliver Conference will support their goals and strengthen their advocacy efforts. Why they are a suitable candidate to represent youth voices at the conference. Applicants may also provide additional information that strengthens their candidacy. Visa Information Applicants must indicate their current visa status, including: Whether they already hold a valid Australian visa. The expiration date of the visa, if applicable. Details of any ongoing visa application process, including whether they have attended a visa interview and are awaiting approval. Providing accurate visa information will help organizers assess readiness for international travel and ensure smooth participation in the conference.
