Anthropic has opened applications for the Claude Campus Ambassador Program, providing university students and researchers with an opportunity to lead student-driven artificial intelligence initiatives on their campuses while receiving a USD 3,600 cash stipend. Claude Builder Clubs for Undergraduate Students Undergraduate students who are passionate about improving AI fluency on campus can apply to lead a Claude Builder Club. Ambassadors in this track will work with Anthropic to establish and manage a community for students interested in building with AI. The role combines technical activities with broader community engagement, making it suitable for students interested in AI development, innovation and peer learning. Key responsibilities include: • Collaborating with Anthropic to establish and lead a Claude Builder Club on campus • Organizing technical and non-technical workshops for fellow students • Hosting hackathons, demonstration events and other activities for student builders • Sharing regular updates, practical tips and resources with club members • Helping students explore AI tools and develop practical AI-building skills Participants will also have access to resources such as API credits, supporting students as they experiment with and develop AI-powered projects. Successful undergraduate ambassadors receive a USD 3,600 cash stipend. Claude Campus Conversations for Graduate Students Master’s students in STEM or humanities disciplines can apply to lead Claude Campus Conversations. This track focuses on encouraging thoughtful discussion about the role of artificial intelligence in education and society. Ambassadors will create spaces where students can explore major questions surrounding AI while also sharing practical experiences and projects. Responsibilities include: • Hosting discussion groups and campus events focused on AI and society • Helping students develop greater AI fluency • Creating opportunities for students to showcase and discuss their Claude projects • Connecting with the wider global ambassador community • Visiting the Anthropic office and engaging with members of the organization Graduate ambassadors will receive a USD 3,600 cash stipend for their participation. Claude Science Workshops for PhD Students and Postdocs PhD students and postdoctoral researchers who use AI to advance scientific or academic research can apply to lead Claude Science workshops for fellow researchers. This pathway is intended for researchers interested in understanding how AI is transforming scientific disciplines and research workflows. Selected ambassadors will: • Build communities of AI-focused PhD researchers and postdoctoral scholars • Organize Claude for Science workshops • Participate in speaker events involving Anthropic’s mathematics and science teams • Develop expertise in the changing role of AI across scientific fields • Engage directly with Anthropic scientists through workshops and research-related activities Participants in this track will also receive a USD 3,600 cash stipend. Who Can Apply? The program provides opportunities for different categories of university-based applicants: • Undergraduate students passionate about AI and campus innovation can apply for Claude Builder Clubs. • Master’s students in STEM or humanities interested in AI’s impact on education and society can apply for Claude Campus Conversations. • PhD students and postdoctoral researchers using AI to advance research can apply for Claude Science workshops.
