Role Overview: Communications Manager The Communications Manager will amplify GIH’s brand and strategic positioning across government, industry, and philanthropic audiences. With a primarily B2B communications focus, this role blends strategy and execution. The successful candidate will oversee digital presence, content production, and brand coherence while driving engagement and measurable performance across global markets. Key Responsibilities Website Leadership and Digital Strategy Lead end-to-end management of GIH’s global website Oversee CMS administration, UX coordination, and content governance Optimize for SEO and search visibility Monitor website analytics and implement performance improvements Support localization across Asia, Europe, and the Americas Social Media and Brand Visibility Manage and grow GIH’s LinkedIn presence and other relevant platforms Strengthen brand awareness among government, industry, and philanthropic stakeholders Track engagement metrics and optimize strategy accordingly Content Creation and Editorial Management Produce high-quality content including: Web copy Blog posts Policy reports Infographics Videos Newsletters Partner profiles Maintain an editorial calendar aligned with strategic priorities Ensure consistency in voice, tone, and visual identity Performance and Stakeholder Coordination Monitor KPIs using tools such as Google Analytics and LinkedIn Analytics Report on digital performance and recommend optimization strategies Manage external vendors or digital agencies as required Ensure compliance with brand, accessibility, privacy, and security standards Required Qualifications Candidates should demonstrate: 5–7 years of experience in communications, digital content, or marketing Strong background in B2B marketing and website management Proven CMS, SEO, and analytics experience for global or multi-regional organizations Experience managing LinkedIn growth and engagement Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Strong project management and stakeholder engagement abilities Experience collaborating across global teams and time zones Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, digital media, or related field Preferred Qualifications Experience in climate policy, industry decarbonization, sustainability, or clean technology Experience working with philanthropic or government organizations Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation, or email platforms Ability to travel occasionally across regional hubs The ideal candidate will be: A strategic storyteller capable of translating organizational priorities into compelling narratives A brand steward ensuring consistency and clarity Results-oriented with strong KPI tracking and optimization focus Culturally sensitive and globally collaborative Adaptable, curious, and comfortable in fast-paced environments Compensation and Location This position is based in Australia and operates remotely.
