Key Responsibilities The Communications Officer will support EVAW’s broader campaigns and communications strategy by undertaking a range of creative and strategic tasks. Core responsibilities include: Growing the organization’s online presence and media profile across multiple platforms. Producing engaging audio and visual content to communicate campaign messages effectively. Writing clear and informative press releases, blog posts, website content, and social media updates. Monitoring trends in digital media and adapting communication strategies accordingly. Supporting campaigns by developing messaging that highlights the realities of violence against women and girls. An understanding of design principles and digital storytelling will be valuable in ensuring content remains accessible, visually engaging, and impactful. Ideal Candidate Profile The role is best suited to individuals with experience in communications, media, or campaigning particularly within the fields of human rights, gender equality, or social justice.
