Using our unique Agricultural Helix framework, we integrate research, farmer productivity, and value chain development to create market-driven, sustainable agricultural ecosystems. At the heart of our work are Agricultural Innovation and Technology Centers (AITECs)—regional hubs that combine technology demonstration, applied research, and hands-on training. These centers bridge Israel’s agricultural expertise with local realities, empowering farmers and professionals, strengthening supply chains, and fostering private-sector growth. CultivAid’s cluster-based approach supports small- and medium-scale farmers, enhances collaboration with regional and national governments, and facilitates the scaling of Israeli agricultural innovation to deliver measurable impact. The Field Coordinator will act as the on-site representative of CultivAid’s management team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, efficient coordination among teams, and consistent progress toward program goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in dynamic field environments and is committed to advancing agricultural innovation and capacity building in Kenya. Key Responsibilities 1. Planning and Coordination Participate in weekly planning sessions and translate strategic decisions into clear, actionable task lists. Coordinate and oversee the implementation of daily and weekly work plans. Ensure proper communication and task alignment between field teams, management, and partners. 2. Administration and Logistics Manage communication with suppliers, service providers, and external partners to support ongoing field operations. Oversee logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory management to ensure smooth supply chains. Coordinate payment processes for seedlings and other agricultural inputs, maintaining full compliance with CultivAid’s financial procedures. 4. Monitoring and Reporting Implement and manage monitoring and evaluation systems to track progress and outcomes. Ensure field teams record accurate data and maintain up-to-date progress reports through digital tools (e.g., Monday.com). Provide regular updates and detailed reports to CultivAid’s management team. Authorize and verify field activities in line with approved plans and budgets. 5. Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the primary liaison between field teams, technical experts, and local partners. Facilitate collaboration with farmer clusters, irrigation schemes, and government or private-sector stakeholders to achieve program objectives. Represent CultivAid at relevant community and institutional meetings. 6. Technical and Team Support Provide on-site technical and operational assistance to field and technical teams. Support agronomists, nursery managers, and agricultural trainers in implementing project targets. Encourage a collaborative, accountable, and learning-oriented team culture.
