FG disburses March 2026 N25,000 renewed hope CCT payment to beneficiaries
opportunitieshub.ng

Application Deadline

April 26, 2026

Description

The Federal Government has disbursed the N25,000 payment for the Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) programme to beneficiaries for March 2026. Eligible households are now receiving credit alerts of N25,000. Vulnerable households have confirmed receipt of the payment, with social media, especially Facebook, flooded with posts such as, “Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) payments are ongoing. Expect yours if you qualify.” The payment of the RRR cash transfer to households began on December 19 through the National Cash Transfer Office (NCTO). As gathered by Nigeria Startup News, one of the confirmation SMS messages reads: “Credit Amt: NGN25,000.00 Acc: 077720 Desc: 099ZEXA2608102Wi/ R-1446369501/NATIONALC: Renewed Hope CCTDate: 22/03/2026 Avail Bal: NGN25,015.20 Total: NGN” The disbursement of the RRR CCT cash transfer is being made to households that have not yet received all three tranches. The Federal Government aims to ensure that the remaining households receive their payments before the end of 2025. The total conditional cash amount is N75,000 per household, paid in three tranches of N25,000 each. The Federal Government now pays the N25,000 CCT funds through bank transfers, as physical payments by State Cash Transfer Units at the ward level have been discontinued. The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Dr Bernard Doro, confirmed that not all of the 17.9 million vulnerable households captured in the National Social Register will benefit from the ongoing conditional cash transfer programme being implemented in partnership with the World Bank to cushion economic shocks. Those who are yet to receive bank alerts are advised to be patient, as their payments will arrive soon. Nigerians should note that there is no official registration portal for the RRR cash transfer, as payments are made using the National Social Register for eligible poor households with a NIN and a bank account. Congratulations to all conditional cash transfer beneficiaries. The March 2026 N25,000 cash transfer is part of a ward-based development initiative introduced by the Federal Government to channel funds directly to all 8,809 wards across the 774 local government areas in Nigeria.
