Spring 2026 Global Health Equity Internships (Globally Remote) GHA’s Spring internships are unpaid, remote positions that welcome applicants from any global location. These opportunities are designed for university students, recent graduates, and emerging professionals passionate about health equity, research, program design, and global development. Each intern will join a dynamic international team working toward the common goal of advancing health and well-being for vulnerable populations. 1. Spring Digital Fundraising Intern Department: ProgramsLocation: Remote (United States or Global) Role Overview: The Digital Fundraising Intern will support the organization’s online engagement and donor relations strategy. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about digital storytelling, social impact marketing, and community-driven fundraising. Key Responsibilities: Assist in developing and implementing online fundraising campaigns. Manage donor communications and support digital outreach efforts. Analyze engagement metrics and suggest improvements for fundraising performance. Contribute creative ideas for donor engagement through social media and email marketing. Eligibility and Requirements: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, International Development, or related fields. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools (Mailchimp, Canva, Google Analytics, etc.) is an advantage. Passion for social causes and understanding of nonprofit fundraising principles. 2. Spring Health Policy, Research, and Advocacy Intern Department: ProgramsLocation: Remote (United States or Global) Role Overview: The Health Policy, Research, and Advocacy Intern will assist with policy analysis, data collection, and advocacy initiatives related to global and public health systems. This role suits candidates interested in combining research with real-world policy impact. Key Responsibilities: Conduct literature reviews and support data analysis on global health topics. Assist in drafting reports, policy briefs, and advocacy materials. Participate in stakeholder mapping and monitoring global health trends. Support the development of strategic advocacy campaigns promoting equitable healthcare systems. Eligibility and Requirements: Enrolled in or graduated from a program in Public Health, Health Policy, International Relations, or a related discipline. Strong research and analytical skills. Ability to synthesize complex information into concise reports. Demonstrated interest in global health, equity, and sustainable development. 3. Spring Leadership & Organizational Development Intern Department: ProgramsLocation: Remote (United States or Global) Role Overview: The Leadership & Organizational Development Intern will contribute to internal capacity-building, staff training, and talent development projects. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about human resources, leadership strategy, and organizational culture. Key Responsibilities: Support the design and facilitation of professional development workshops. Conduct organizational assessments and compile data on team performance trends. Contribute to the development of leadership and mentorship initiatives. Assist in reviewing HR policies and talent management processes. Eligibility and Requirements: Pursuing or holding a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Management, or Education. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Interest in workforce development and learning design. Ability to work collaboratively in a global virtual environment. 4. Spring Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Intern Department: ProgramsLocation: Remote (United States or Global) Role Overview: The MEL Intern will support data-driven decision-making across projects by assisting with monitoring and evaluation activities, data visualization, and learning documentation. This role provides hands-on experience in program evaluation and impact measurement — critical skills in international development. Key Responsibilities: Assist with data collection, analysis, and visualization for ongoing projects. Support the creation of project reports, dashboards, and performance metrics. Help organize learning sessions and document key lessons from program implementation. Contribute to the design of M&E frameworks and survey instruments. Eligibility and Requirements: Studying or recently graduated in Statistics, Data Science, Development Studies, Economics, or a related field. Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Familiarity with Excel, Power BI, or statistical software (SPSS, R, or Python). Interest in development impact measurement and results-based management.
