Application Deadline
February 14, 2026
Organisation: ECPAT International Location: Remote / Home-Based Application Deadline: 15 February 2026 (Rolling review thereafter) Organisational Context ECPAT International is a global network of organisations working to eliminate the sexual exploitation of children (SEC) in all its forms, including exploitation in prostitution, online sexual exploitation, trafficking for sexual purposes, exploitation in travel and tourism, and certain forms of child, early, and forced marriage. The ECPAT Network comprises 143 member organisations across 114 countries, operating at national, regional, and local levels. The International Secretariat, based in Bangkok, Thailand, coordinates global and regional programming, advocacy, research, and network initiatives in close collaboration with its members. Background and Rationale ECPAT International is currently undergoing a significant fundraising transition. Longstanding core funding streams are ending, government development budgets—particularly in Western Europe and North America—are contracting, and several private foundations have reduced, redirected, or withdrawn support. At the same time, donors have become increasingly risk-averse, with heightened scrutiny of mandates related to human rights, gender equality, advocacy, and sexual exploitation. These external pressures coincide with internal challenges, including increased fundraising workload, reduced staff capacity, and the need to engage diverse donor ecosystems. These include private philanthropies, high-net-worth individuals, faith-based organisations, private sector actors, and emerging funding environments in Asia and the Gulf region. Such donors often expect relationship-driven engagement, tailored narratives, strong visual materials, and concise, outcome-focused proposals. To respond effectively, ECPAT is adopting a modular and flexible fundraising support model, seeking contributions from multiple consultants with complementary expertise rather than relying on a single provider. Consultancy Scope: Three Strategic Pillars Consultants are invited to express interest in contributing to one or more of the following pillars.
