Key Details: Position: Human Resources Intern Location: Abuja Duration: 1 year Reporting To: Human Resources Advisor This internship is structured as both a learning and value-adding experience, allowing interns to develop skills while contributing meaningfully to the organization. Job Purpose and Responsibilities The Human Resources Intern will support the HR Unit in administrative, operational, and digital transformation tasks. The role focuses on improving HR systems, employee engagement, and internal processes. Core Responsibilities: 1. HR Administration and Staff Support The intern will assist in managing staff welfare programs, including health insurance (HMO), pensions, and wellness initiatives. This ensures employees remain supported and engaged. 2. Digitalisation and Record Management A major part of the role involves digitizing staff records and maintaining both physical and electronic filing systems. The intern will help organize and archive documents within the HR database and cloud platforms. 3. HR Database and Reporting The intern will update employee records, support HR analytics, and contribute to reporting processes that inform organizational decision-making. 4. Recruitment and Onboarding Support will also be provided during recruitment processes, including logistics, documentation, and onboarding of new employees. 5. Event and Logistics Coordination The intern will assist in organizing staff engagement activities such as trainings, workshops, and team-building events.
