The role ensures effective planning, execution, and monitoring of cross-cutting initiatives, including: DealSource Africa ESO Collaborative Pensions Industry Collaborative Ghana Digital Innovation Week (GDIW) Research and emerging strategic projects The successful candidate will strengthen program delivery and contribute to mobilizing capital for impact across Ghana’s enterprise ecosystem. Key Responsibilities 1. Program Operations & Coordination Provide day-to-day operational and technical support across multiple strategic initiatives Ensure alignment and coordination across workstreams Proactively identify implementation challenges and support solutions 2. Project Management & Delivery Support planning, scheduling, and timeline management Track budgets and monitor deliverables Ensure timely completion of outputs 3. Documentation & Reporting Prepare high-quality reports, briefs, proposals, presentations, and donor updates Maintain structured documentation for internal and external stakeholders Support Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) processes, including KPI tracking and progress analysis 4. Program Design & Development Support stakeholder consultations and co-creation sessions Draft program design documents and budgets Contribute to development of new ecosystem initiatives 5. Events & Stakeholder Engagement Coordinate workshops, training sessions, and ecosystem convenings Manage logistics and ensure quality content delivery Represent IIGh in meetings as assigned Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and ecosystem actors 6. Additional Support Undertake tasks aligned with organizational goals and strategic priorities Candidate Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Economics, Business, Public Policy, Innovation, or related field Experience 2–5 years supporting development projects, entrepreneurship ecosystems, or related initiatives Experience with donor-funded projects and multi-stakeholder coordination is an advantage Core Competencies Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement capacity Analytical thinking and attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Familiarity with CRM systems is desirable Working Conditions Based in Accra, with occasional travel for workshops and stakeholder engagements Extended hours may be required during peak activity periods Why This Role Matters The Program Support & Coordination Officer will play a central role in strengthening Ghana’s impact investing ecosystem.
