Innovate Health Hub: Programme Assistant (Entry-Level / Paid) Organization: Innovate Health Hub Position: Programme Assistant Employment Type: Entry-Level, Short-Term, Paid Work Environment: Remote / Virtual Application Deadline: September 25, 2026 About the Role Innovate Health Hub is recruiting an organized and proactive Programme Assistant to support virtual programs designed for young African health innovators. This entry-level position offers early-career professionals practical exposure to health technology innovation, community engagement, and virtual event management across Africa. Key Responsibilities Virtual Event & Session Coordination: Assist in scheduling, launching, and co-hosting online workshops, webinars, and program activities. Participant & Speaker Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for young health innovators, external speakers, and facilitators; provide reminders, updates, and follow-ups before and after sessions. Documentation & Data Management: Maintain organized records, participant attendance metrics, contact databases, and program resource materials. Administrative Support: Execute daily operational tasks to ensure seamless program execution and a positive experience for all cohort members. Ideal Candidate Profile Target Applicants: Recent graduates, early-career professionals, or individuals seeking hands-on experience in program coordination and digital health ecosystems. Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating standard online communication tools and video-conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, Teams). Core Competencies: Strong written and verbal communication, excellent time management, responsiveness, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
