Relief Applications (RA) has announced applications for a part-time, fully remote HR & Talent Acquisition Manager position, offering experienced human resources professionals an opportunity to lead both recruitment and people management within an international humanitarian technology organization. The position is designed for professionals who enjoy working autonomously while supporting a globally distributed team operating in the humanitarian and nonprofit sectors. Opportunity Combines Recruitment and Human Resource Leadership The HR & Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for managing the organization’s entire recruitment lifecycle while also overseeing key human resource functions. According to Relief Applications, the successful candidate will proactively identify and recruit qualified professionals through platforms such as LinkedIn, ReliefWeb, and specialist humanitarian, technology, and data-focused job boards. Alongside recruitment responsibilities, the role includes supporting employee wellbeing, coordinating HR administration, and contributing to long-term people strategy. Key Responsibilities The position is evenly divided between talent acquisition and human resource management. Talent Sourcing and Recruitment (50%) Responsibilities include: Proactively sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other specialist recruitment platforms. Building and maintaining a qualified talent pipeline. Managing the complete recruitment process from job advertising to final selection. Coordinating candidate screening and interviews. Supporting technical assessments alongside hiring managers. Maintaining Relief Applications’ consultant roster and recruitment database. Matching qualified professionals to organizational projects and funding opportunities. Human Resource Management (50%) The HR component of the role covers several operational and strategic functions. HR Administration Successful candidates will: Draft and manage employee and consultant contracts. Coordinate payroll with external accounting firms. Maintain employee records and HR documentation. Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes. Monitor leave management and time tracking. Support HR compliance across the organization’s French entity and Spanish branch. Employee Relations The HR & Talent Acquisition Manager will also: Conduct regular one-on-one HR meetings with staff members. Lead annual performance reviews. Facilitate employee feedback sessions. Provide confidential support for workplace concerns. Handle conflict resolution professionally and discreetly. HR Strategy and Organizational Culture Additional responsibilities include: Developing HR strategies alongside senior leadership. Supporting employee engagement initiatives. Organizing team-building activities and social events. Helping strengthen organizational culture. Planning innovation-focused activities. Reporting regularly on recruitment and HR performance. Required Qualifications Applicants should possess a strong combination of recruitment and human resource management experience. Minimum requirements include: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Approximately five years of experience in HR, talent acquisition, or both. Demonstrated experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn and similar platforms. Experience managing contracts, payroll coordination, and employee records. Strong organizational and communication skills. Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office applications. Previous experience within the nonprofit, humanitarian, or NGO sector will be considered a significant advantage. Language Requirements Because the organization operates across multiple countries, multilingual communication is essential. Applicants should possess: Professional proficiency in French, which is required. Professional working proficiency in English. Knowledge of Spanish, considered a strong advantage for collaboration with the Spanish branch.
