Operating in 172 countries, IPPF works to ensure that individuals and communities can make informed choices about their sexuality, reproductive health, and wellbeing, free from discrimination, violence, or exclusion. As a federation of 149 national organisations, IPPF delivers life-saving healthcare services and advocates for universal access to SRHR, particularly for women, young people, and marginalised populations. The organisation is currently implementing its Come Together – Strategy 2028, which prioritises feminist leadership, international solidarity, and systems transformation to reach those most left out, locked out, or left behind. Role Overview IPPF is seeking a Humanitarian Business Analyst to strengthen its humanitarian response capacity worldwide. The role focuses on managing, analysing, and transforming humanitarian data into actionable insights that inform programme design, capacity strengthening, donor reporting, and operational decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with IPPF’s Member Associations, humanitarian partners, and global teams to ensure the timely flow, quality, and effective use of humanitarian information. This position plays a critical role in enhancing evidence-based programming and accountability in complex humanitarian settings. Key Responsibilities The Humanitarian Business Analyst will undertake the following core responsibilities: Data Analysis and Decision Support Collect, manage, and analyse humanitarian data from Member Associations and partners Translate complex datasets into clear insights to support strategic and operational decision-making Develop analytical products that inform humanitarian programme design and implementation Reporting and Information Management Design and maintain dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools for: Senior management Donors and external stakeholders Ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality data submissions in line with donor requirements Support organisational learning through structured documentation of findings and lessons learned Monitoring, Evaluation, and Accountability Support monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) processes across humanitarian programmes Contribute to accountability mechanisms and data quality assurance Assist in aligning humanitarian reporting with IPPF’s safeguarding and accountability standards Coordination and Knowledge Sharing Liaise with global teams and Member Associations to ensure efficient information flow Support knowledge management systems to enhance learning across humanitarian responses Facilitate collaboration across regions and functions to strengthen operational coherence Required Qualifications and Experience Applicants should meet the following criteria: A university degree in: International Development Social Sciences Statistics Public Health Or a related field A postgraduate qualification is desirable A minimum of three (3) years’ professional experience in: Non-governmental organisations Humanitarian and/or development contexts Fluency in English and Spanish is essential Demonstrated experience in: Data analysis and humanitarian reporting Donor compliance and reporting requirements Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Advanced skills in Excel are highly desirable Experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools is an advantage Values and Competencies Strong commitment to IPPF’s values, including: Sexual and reproductive health and rights Safeguarding and accountability Gender equality and social justice Ability to work effectively in multicultural, multilingual, and remote teams Strong communication and interpersonal skills Contract and Working Arrangements The engagement is for a 1-year project The nature of the contract will depend on the candidate’s country of residence and applicable local laws: Fixed-term employment contract in some jurisdictions External consultancy agreement in others All contractual arrangements will comply with local legal requirements Why Join IPPF?
