The Program Delivery Support Coordinator is a new role within the Crisis Response, Recovery, and Development (CRRD) department. CRRD’s Program Delivery (PD) pillar collaborates with regional and country teams to implement high-quality programs that produce meaningful outcomes for beneficiaries. The Strategy & Performance team, part of this pillar, focuses on supporting country teams to develop Strategy Action Plans (SAPs), enhance business processes, reinforce program management systems, and scale work through partnerships. Purpose of the Role The Program Delivery Support Coordinator provides operational and technical support across a wide range of initiatives, emphasizing partnerships, project management, performance monitoring, and knowledge management. The role supports Strategy & Performance projects, including strategic planning, business process improvements, and organizational change efforts, ensuring alignment with global IRC objectives. The postholder will work closely with Strategy & Performance team members, Program Delivery colleagues, the Emergencies Unit, Technical Excellence, the Awards Management Unit, and other IRC departments engaged in cross-functional initiatives. Key Responsibilities Project Management: Lead and coordinate workplans for Strategy & Performance initiatives, particularly in advancing partnership efforts. Schedule and facilitate meetings, document milestones, and track progress for coordination bodies such as the Partnership Steering Committee. Support cross-departmental processes, including the revision of organizational guidance materials and implementation of the Partnership Roadmap. Performance Monitoring: Track the status of initiatives to identify areas requiring corrective action. Support performance reporting for CRRD’s Delivery Letter, outlining departmental commitments and goals. Global Surge Team Oversight: Assist in the management, administration, and routine performance reviews of the non-emergency Global Surge Team under Program Delivery. Additional Support: Conduct analyses to inform organizational decision-making, including SAP priority assessments and adherence to Project Cycle Meeting routines. Assist in socialization and change management communications to promote adoption of new processes and systems across country programs. Candidate Profile Essential Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of three years’ experience in the humanitarian or development sector, preferably at regional or country level. Expertise in project management, including developing and tracking workplans, coordinating teams, and using data to guide decisions. Experience in basic data analysis and visualization. Strong networking and influencing skills, particularly in multicultural environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce accessible materials. Ability to prioritize effectively, work under pressure, and maintain high attention to detail. Flexible, collaborative, and capable of working independently when required. Desirable Skills: Experience in product development. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Additional language skills in French, Spanish, or Arabic are advantageous.
