Functional Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the intern will contribute to a range of activities supporting ICTS operations and data strategy development. Key responsibilities include: Supporting data quality improvement initiatives, including dataset review and standardisation efforts Assisting in the design and enhancement of dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to improve accessibility and usability Contributing to the development of data governance frameworks, including documentation of data processes, metadata, and data dictionaries Supporting small-scale automation and data integration projects to improve workflow efficiency Evaluating the potential use of AI and generative AI tools for data analysis and operational improvements Participating in knowledge-sharing initiatives aimed at promoting a data-driven organisational culture These responsibilities are intended to provide meaningful exposure to both technical and strategic aspects of data management within an international institution. Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications Applicants must meet the following educational and technical requirements: Education Enrolled in or recently completed a graduate or postgraduate programme in: Computer Science Data Science Information Systems Or a related discipline Language Skills Good working knowledge of English Knowledge of additional official working languages of the organisation is considered an advantage Technical Skills Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau Basic knowledge of SQL and/or Python (advantageous) Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouse systems (advantageous) Understanding of AI-based platforms such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar tools Personal Competencies Strong analytical thinking ability Initiative and creativity in problem-solving A digital-first mindset and adaptability to new technologies Inclusion and Accessibility The internship is specifically designed to promote inclusion within international organisations.
