Job Overview The Programme Management Officer (P-3) position is based within the Data Analysis Unit (DAU) under the Office of the Deputy Chief Executive of Pension Administration. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Fund’s data strategy and helping Pension Administration leverage data to improve operational efficiency and decision-making. The role reports directly to the Chief of the Data Analysis Unit. Key Responsibilities The Programme Management Officer will support several strategic initiatives focused on data-driven decision-making and programme management. Major responsibilities include: 1. Data Strategy and Analysis Contribute to the development and implementation of the Pension Administration data strategy Analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improving services Support the integration of data analytics into organizational decision-making 2. Programme and Project Management Plan and coordinate projects within the Data Analysis Unit Track progress of strategic initiatives and provide updates to leadership Ensure project deliverables align with the Fund’s objectives and timelines 3. Performance Monitoring Develop and monitor performance indicators Evaluate programme effectiveness using quantitative and qualitative data Produce analytical reports to guide policy and operational improvements 4. Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with internal teams across Pension Administration Support cross-departmental data initiatives Assist with communication of insights and findings to senior management Required Qualifications Education Candidates must have an advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in one of the following fields: Business Administration Public Administration Economics Social Sciences Data Analytics Or another relevant discipline A first-level university degree combined with additional relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree. Work Experience Applicants should demonstrate experience in areas related to: Programme or project management Data analysis or data-driven decision-making Policy analysis or strategic planning Monitoring and evaluation of programmes Experience working in international organizations or the United Nations system is considered an advantage. Language Requirements Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language such as French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, or Russian is desirable.
