To address this challenge, Aflatoun International is implementing a one-year initiative aimed at strengthening the long-term financial sustainability of its local NGO partners through income diversification and enhanced organizational resilience. At the centre of this initiative is the Partner Resilience Package—a practical, modular set of training materials and tools designed to support local NGOs in developing locally anchored income streams, engaging the private sector, and improving financial planning and resilience. The consultant will work closely with Aflatoun staff and regional trainers to design, pilot, refine, and finalize this package. Lessons learned will later inform the development of a Global Toolkit on Income Diversification for NGOs. For this initiative, Partner Resilience refers to the ability of local NGOs to: Sustain core programme delivery despite fluctuations in donor funding Develop diversified, locally generated income streams Improve financial planning and cost recovery Strengthen engagement with non-donor actors As a result of applying the package, partners are expected to: Identify at least two realistic non-donor income streams Develop a 12–24 month income diversification action plan Establish at least one recurring or locally sourced income stream Improve overhead coverage or cost recovery Scope of Work and Key Tasks Under the supervision of Aflatoun’s Programme & Partnership Team, the consultant will undertake the following tasks: 1.
