About Agroecology Europe Agroecology Europe is a European association dedicated to promoting agroecology as a transformative approach to food systems. The organization works to place agroecology high on the European policy agenda, advocating for sustainable farming practices, environmental protection, and socially just food systems. Through research collaboration, policy engagement, and public outreach, the association aims to strengthen the transition toward resilient and sustainable agricultural systems across Europe. Role Overview The Communication and Press Officer will be responsible for designing and implementing communication strategies that highlight agroecology and its benefits for society and the environment. The role involves working closely with the organization’s team and partners to create engaging content, develop communication campaigns, and ensure the organization’s voice is effectively represented across multiple platforms. Key Responsibilities The selected candidate will contribute to several communication and outreach activities, including: Developing creative communication campaigns that promote agroecology initiatives Writing and distributing press releases and media statements Managing and strengthening media relations Creating compelling stories and content related to sustainable food systems Supporting the organization’s public outreach and visibility Contributing to strategic messaging that amplifies agroecology across Europe This position is particularly suited for a creative communicator with strong storytelling skills, an interest in sustainability, and the ability to translate complex topics into engaging messages.
