The research is structured around two main themes: 1. Intellectual History of International Relations The project examines how conservative ideas have shaped the development and historiography of international relations as an academic discipline. 2. Contemporary Radical Conservative Networks It also investigates the evolution of radical conservative international thought, particularly within think tanks and policy networks across Europe and North America since the 1960s. Using approaches from political sociology, the project maps: Key institutions and organizations Ideological positions and policy agendas Strategies used to influence global politics Patterns of collaboration and competition Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will play an active role in both research and project coordination.
