About the Role The Global Finance Associate will play a key role in maintaining the stability, integrity, and efficiency of Dalberg’s global finance operations. This role requires a finance professional with strong accounting, reporting, and systems experience who can work independently while collaborating across global teams. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality financial management, data accuracy, and process improvement within a multinational environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Accounting Prepare and maintain draft project reports across all regions, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Review time entries, expenses, and invoices, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with Project Managers and Partners to validate financial data and ensure compliance with global policies. Partner with regional finance teams to update project data accurately and in a timely manner. Finalize project drafts and ensure all project accounting adheres to Dalberg’s financial standards. Review and refine project accounting guidelines to reflect evolving organizational needs. Track all project statuses—both billable and non-billable—to maintain up-to-date records. Provide ERP system support (Maconomy) for project accounting at a global level, including: Testing modules during system upgrades. Conducting staff training sessions on project accounting functions. Resolving staff queries and troubleshooting issues across the system. 2. Reporting Assist in the creation of comprehensive financial reports using Excel, Power BI, and AI-enabled tools. Support automation efforts by designing structured reporting templates. Enhance existing templates and reporting formats to meet emerging business requirements. 3. General Finance Support Support the Global Finance Manager and finance leadership with various accounting and reporting tasks. Collaborate closely with global shared services and regional finance teams to streamline operations. Contribute to ad hoc financial and administrative projects across regions. About You The ideal candidate is a finance professional with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex data systems in a fast-paced global environment. Essential Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of five years’ experience in accounting and finance. Strong proficiency in ERP systems such as Maconomy, NetSuite, or equivalent. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint. Demonstrated technical systems aptitude and ability to learn new financial platforms quickly. Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills. Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and accuracy. Cross-cultural competence and ability to operate effectively in a global organization. Previous experience in an international professional services firm is preferred. Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
