Position Summary MedGlobal is seeking a Graphic Designer Assistant to support the organisation’s global communications efforts. This role is responsible for translating programmes, policy priorities, and humanitarian impact into compelling visual and digital content across multiple platforms. Working remotely and reporting to the Global Communications Manager, the Graphic Designer Assistant will design materials for the website, social media channels, email campaigns, reports, and public-facing communications. The role requires creativity, strong organisational skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality visual content in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. The successful candidate will contribute to strengthening MedGlobal’s brand presence while ensuring consistency with the organisation’s Style and Brand Guide. Key Responsibilities Communications and Visual Content Design a wide range of organisational materials, including blog graphics, fact sheets, briefings, reports, presentations, op-eds, and social media assets. Develop engaging visual content that communicates humanitarian and health impact to diverse audiences. Maintain and organise communications assets, including photo and video repositories, success stories, testimonials, and digital files. Ensure consistent application of branding guidelines across all materials. Monitor digital media trends and recommend improvements to enhance visual storytelling and audience engagement. Design and Content Production Assist country teams in producing required communications materials. Design and edit graphics, infographics, brochures, and marketing materials for use across digital and print channels. Create consistent visual assets aligned with MedGlobal’s brand standards. Support the development of creative concepts for campaigns and key initiatives. Outreach and Media Support Provide design support for special events, publications, and marketing campaigns. Assist with report production, mailings, and other communications initiatives. Offer guidance on design best practices to staff, country teams, and partners. Qualifications and Skills The ideal candidate is a creative professional with strong design expertise and the ability to work collaboratively across cultures and time zones. Essential Requirements Minimum two years of experience in communications, preferably within a non-profit or related organisation. Experience using design software, including Adobe Creative Suite. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure. Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated, accountable, and eager to learn new tools and techniques. Desirable Qualifications Experience in video editing. Proficiency in Arabic. Experience working in humanitarian or global health communications environments.
