Supporting Sexual and Reproductive Health in Humanitarian Settings The SRH&R Advisor will contribute to strengthening sexual and reproductive health and rights programming, including supporting medical teams working in complex humanitarian environments. The position requires a professional capable of providing technical guidance, improving service delivery, and supporting teams through training, mentorship, and evidence-based approaches. The successful candidate will help advance comprehensive care models that address the needs of vulnerable populations, including those affected by conflict, displacement, and limited access to healthcare services. Key Professional Requirements Applicants must have a strong medical background and relevant experience in sexual and reproductive healthcare. Essential qualifications include: Registration as a Midwife or qualification as a Medical Doctor specialized in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience. Hands-on experience working with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) or similar international medical-humanitarian organizations. Demonstrated experience in comprehensive Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) care and service management. Experience supervising, mentoring, and training healthcare teams. An instructor certificate is considered an additional advantage for candidates applying for the role. Responsibilities and Areas of Expertise The SRH&R Advisor will support healthcare teams by providing technical expertise and strengthening programme quality. The role focuses on areas such as: Supporting comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services. Improving SGBV care approaches and clinical management. Mentoring healthcare professionals and strengthening team capacity. Delivering training and technical support to medical teams. Promoting evidence-based healthcare practices. Supporting continuous improvement of humanitarian health interventions.
