Applications are now open for the NNPC/Renaissance Joint Venture Enterprise Development Programme 2026, an entrepreneurship and business support initiative designed to equip young Nigerians with the skills, funding opportunities, and mentorship needed to build sustainable businesses. The programme, formerly known as the NNPC-SPDC JV LiveWIRE Programme, is implemented by Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited, operator of the NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/Agip Energy Joint Venture. The initiative targets young entrepreneurs with viable business ideas and provides business training, startup support, mentorship, and access to funding opportunities. About the Programme The Enterprise Development Programme is designed to empower young Nigerians aged 18 to 35 by providing: Entrepreneurship and business management training Business planning and development support Startup grant opportunities for outstanding business ideas Access to third-party funding and investment opportunities Structured mentorship from experienced business professionals Support for establishing and growing sustainable enterprises Programme Benefits Business Skills Development: Participants will undergo intensive entrepreneurship training through the Successful Business Owner Course and other business development modules. Startup Grant Support: Outstanding participants with viable business plans may receive startup funding support. Access to Funding: Successful candidates will have opportunities to pitch their business ideas to financial institutions, investors, and development organizations. Mentorship: Participants will receive guidance and support from experienced mentors to help them launch and grow their businesses. Eligibility Criteria Age: 18–35 years Educational Qualification: HND or Bachelor’s Degree NYSC Status: Must have completed NYSC where applicable Employment Status: Must not be engaged in paid employment Business Idea: Must possess an innovative and viable business idea Entrepreneurial Interest: Must demonstrate a genuine desire to own and manage a business Business Experience: Must not have operated a business for more than three years Previous Participation: Must not have previously benefited from the Renaissance Enterprise Development Programme (formerly NNPC-SPDC JV LiveWIRE) or similar community enterprise development programmes Eligible States Applicants must be indigenes of any of the following states: Rivers Bayelsa Delta Imo Abia Akwa Ibom Cross River Edo Eligible Sectors Agriculture Clean Energy Solutions Oil and Gas Social Enterprise Manufacturing Retail and Wholesale ICT and Telecommunications Application Method Applications are submitted online only.
