Available Humanitarian Specialist Profiles 1. Humanitarian Coordination Specialist P3/P4 Humanitarian Coordination Specialists will help strengthen coordination between humanitarian actors during emergencies. Responsibilities may include supporting clusters and inter-agency coordination structures, facilitating operational meetings, supporting response planning and identifying operational gaps. Professionals will also contribute to rapid needs assessments, preparedness planning, information sharing and collective decision-making. Candidates should generally have: At least 7 years of international humanitarian experience. At least 3 international humanitarian missions in complex, high-risk or hardship environments. Experience at coordination or management level. Recent operational emergency experience. Prior UN or inter-agency experience. Professional English plus French, Arabic, Portuguese or Spanish. Knowledge of the Humanitarian Programme Cycle and Cluster architecture. Experience working with national and local humanitarian actors. 2. WASH Specialist P3/P4 WASH Specialists will support emergency responses addressing water, sanitation and hygiene needs and associated public health risks. Their work may include rapid WASH assessments, emergency water supply interventions, water-quality monitoring, sanitation support and hygiene promotion. Specialists may also support WASH Cluster mechanisms and strengthen the capacity of local and national partners. Applicants should have: At least 7 years of international humanitarian experience. At least 3 international humanitarian missions. Demonstrated emergency WASH programming experience. Knowledge of water supply, treatment, sanitation and hygiene. Experience conducting rapid WASH assessments. Knowledge of Sphere and relevant humanitarian standards. Experience addressing WASH-related public health risks. Experience with WASH coordination systems. 3. Information Management Specialist P3/P4 Information Management Specialists will ensure that humanitarian data is collected, analysed and transformed into useful information for operational decision-making. Responsibilities include developing datasets, reporting systems, dashboards, maps and analytical products. Specialists may also coordinate information management processes between clusters, agencies and other response actors. Key requirements include: At least 7 years of international humanitarian experience. At least 3 international humanitarian missions. Strong experience in humanitarian information management. Experience establishing or improving information management systems. Experience with data collection, analysis and visualisation. Experience developing dashboards, maps and analytical reports. Understanding of humanitarian coordination structures. Strong stakeholder engagement and coordination skills. Knowledge of responsible data management and data protection. 4. Logistics Specialist P3/P4 Logistics Specialists will support humanitarian operations involving procurement, supply chains, transportation, warehousing and distribution. They may coordinate logistics systems, manage suppliers and inventory, support procurement and transport operations, identify supply-chain bottlenecks and contribute to emergency preparedness. Applicants should have: At least 7 years of international humanitarian experience. At least 3 international humanitarian missions. A relevant university degree or professional qualification. At least 5 years of humanitarian supply-chain or logistics experience. Emergency logistics and operational decision-making experience. Experience in medical, food, NFI, health or cash-distribution logistics is an advantage. Knowledge of Logistics Cluster structures. Experience with logistics information management systems.
