This immersive, hands-on initiative is designed to equip the next generation of public and global health leaders with practical experience, mentorship, and exposure to community-centered health programs worldwide. About Global Health Action (GHA) GHA is a private, nonprofit organization with a proven track record in leadership training, community health programs, and the development of sustainable local and regional health networks. The organization’s mission is to engage with communities globally to improve health outcomes and foster resilience, with a focus on women, children, and adolescents. Since its founding, GHA has trained over 10,000 health professionals and community leaders from 97 countries, helping establish thousands of sustainable health and development initiatives. Summer Digital Fundraising Intern Assist with fundraising campaigns, donor engagement, and digital outreach Support content creation for social media and email campaigns Gain practical experience in nonprofit fundraising strategies 2. Summer Health Policy, Research, and Advocacy Intern Conduct research on health policy issues affecting women, children, and adolescents Draft policy briefs, reports, and advocacy materials for global impact Support initiatives aimed at improving health equity through evidence-based advocacy 3. Summer Leadership & Organizational Development Intern Assist with leadership and management training for global health programs Support organizational assessments and capacity-building initiatives Gain insight into leadership development and program design for international health contexts 4. Summer Maternal and Child Health Programs Intern Participate in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of maternal and child health initiatives Analyze program data and contribute to evaluation reports Support partnerships with local organizations to enhance service delivery 5.
