Operating across nine African countries that collectively host nearly two-thirds of Africa’s farmers, the organisation provides smallholder farmers with high-quality agricultural inputs, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a range of complementary services. Through this integrated model, supported farmers consistently increase their income and assets by more than 35 percent on average. One Acre Fund’s impact is delivered by a diverse workforce of over 9,000 full-time staff across its countries of operation. The Nigeria programme, established in 2018 and headquartered in Minna, Niger State, currently serves more than 300,000 farmers through multiple initiatives, including input credit programmes, cash-based retail services, and a large-scale agroforestry seedling distribution programme. Role Overview One Acre Fund Nigeria is seeking a People Analytics Coordinator to strengthen the accuracy, integrity, and strategic use of workforce data within the People Operations function. This role is designed for a highly analytical professional with a strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to translate employee data into actionable insights that improve operational efficiency and employee experience. The People Analytics Coordinator will play a central role in maintaining reliable human resource records, generating workforce analytics, supporting compliance processes, and enabling data-informed decision-making across the Nigeria programme. The position works closely with cross-functional teams within People Operations to support recruitment, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and employee engagement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Human Resources Operations and Documentation The role is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records while supporting core HR processes, including: Managing employee data and records within the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Drafting employment-related documentation such as contracts, letters, memos, and official correspondence Coordinating onboarding processes for new hires, including documentation preparation and orientation scheduling Supporting preparation of HR reports, internal communications, and audit documentation Data Management and Workforce Analytics The People Analytics Coordinator will ensure that workforce data is accurate, secure, and strategically utilised by: Tracking staff movements including recruitment, exits, transfers, and promotions Producing periodic workforce reports covering demographics, gender, cadre, location, and tenure Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, confidentiality, and compliance with organisational standards Generating workforce insights to support HR planning, budgeting, and programme reporting Compliance and Record Management The role supports organisational compliance by: Maintaining HR records in line with internal policies and statutory labour requirements Supporting payroll processes through timely collation and validation of employee documentation Assisting with internal and external audits by ensuring records are complete and accessible Cross-Functional Coordination The People Analytics Coordinator will work collaboratively across teams by: Providing data and administrative support to Compensation and Benefits, Learning and Development, Recruitment, and Employee Engagement teams Facilitating communication between People Operations and other departments Supporting internal HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives Career Development and Growth One Acre Fund offers a strong learning culture that prioritises professional development and internal growth. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field Minimum of three years of relevant experience in HR operations, people analytics, or workforce data management Demonstrated experience managing employee records and HR databases Required Skills and Competencies Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple HR processes simultaneously High attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive employee data Proficiency in HRIS platforms and workforce reporting tools Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion One Acre Fund is deeply committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism.
